Air Activities Mailing List

This facility was set up by the County Air Activities Advisor as a quick way to let Scouts in Buckinghamshire know about Air Activity issues that may be of interest.

To join, anyone can subscribe to the list by sending the words 'subscribe BucksAirScouts' to ListServer@fjl.co.uk  OR click here if your browser is compatible with mail links. A check will be made to ensure subscribers are genuine so please tell me who you are! If the list's existence becomes public, as it will in due course, potential subscribers will have to mail me directly to gain access.

It would be helpful for new users to send a message identifying themselves to the other subscribers too!

Anyone subscribed can send a message to everyone else by addressing it to BucksAirScouts@fjl.co.uk. This address may change in the future. Note that if you reply to a message it will also be sent to everyone.

This list server is run by me, and me alone, on my secure server at my location (i.e. not on a rack at a data centre). As such it is as private as it possibly can be, and there is no chance whatsoever that your subscribed email address will be passed to anyone (including other list subscribers) by this system.

There is a related list, BucksAirScouts_Digest, that contains a weekly summary of all messages posted. Send an email containing the following commands to ListServer@fjl.co.uk if you would prefer to receive this instead:

subscribe BucksAirScouts_Digest
unsubscribe BucksAirScouts

This assumes you don't want to receive both! The digest contains the last week's messages, grouped by subject and date. You can't post to the digest.

For more information on using this list server, send a message to ListServer@fjl.co.uk with the word 'help' as the body of the message (pick any 'subject' you like). My friendly robot will then reply with a page of instructions.
