Although roles and responsibilities are shared out amongst the older members, every team needs a governor and ours is Nick Coward. He is the County Caving Advisor meaning if you want a Form Cave you need to speak to him. He has been caving 19 years and is a nationally qualified instructor.

Ben has been caving for 6 years and in that time has gained his Form Cave and a caver's beard. He would work on a caver's belly but that would loose him the title of county ferret.

Dean has been caving for 9 years and has the team record for falling the greatest distance whilst down a cave (40ft). When not having accidents, he has found time to gain his Form Cave and build this website.

Chris has the strength of the rest of the team put together. If you're ever in need of a helping hand, Chris is the man to call upon so long as you're not down a tight hole.
John has been caving for around 10 years and is our resident action man, caver, skydiver, diver and motorbike racing instructor. If it's dangerous, he's done it.
Jim has been caving for about 8 years and in that time has caved everywhere from Yorkshire to France, from Mendip to mainland China. He is a mentor for the young cave leaders and the team's resident photographer.
Graham has been caving on and off for 13 years and is the calming factor of the team, nothing phases him...
Kirsty (nicknamed Tigger) is full of energy and is the liveliest member of the team. If you're up for a game of mercy, she is the one to ask.
Tom has been caving for 4 years. His laid back attitude makes him a calm and patient leader, and therefore a great instructor for Scouts and an asset to the team.
Leanne started as one of our caving instructors but has been promoted to surface support. She now plays a vital role ensuring everything above ground goes as smoothly as activities below ground.
Tom G has been caving around 4 years and is the teams resident intellectual. He is currently studying geology at University College London meaning if you want to know anything about how caves are formed he is the man to ask.
Kathy is currently at uni and a member of the Liverpool University Potholing Club. When she isn't "Potholing" up north, she often comes on team weekends as one of our younger instructors.
Paul has been caving 20 years and after taking a short break from the team to climb he is again a regular instructor on county weekends. He is a mentor for the young leaders and the teams resident film maker.
Jamie is one of our young leaders and a regular face on county weekends. He is an enthusiastic caver and leader who proves himself time and again. The only problem with having younger, fitter leaders is those of us slightly older ones find it hard to keep up.
Lawrence impressed the team as a Scout and continues to impress as one of our young leaders. An enthusiastic caver and leader who rarely backs away from a challenge, loves caves and will even tell you all about them in Spanish if you like.
