Alec Carr (Chief) - Alec is the head of the team and is the County Climbing Advisor. Alec has over 20 years of experience in both rock climbing and mountaineering and has climbed in the major locations around the UK both in summer and winter. He has climbed a large number of 4000 meter plus mountains in the European Alps and is on a mission to complete the rest. As a result he can also point you to the nearest pubs, cafes, gear shops and hospitals. He is responsible for the training, assessing and development of climbing in Bucks. He can be easily spotted on a sunny day by the shiny bald patch on his head. |

Chris Park (Little Chris) - Chris is one of the coordinators for the Young Climbers Club. He is responsible for instructing and coaching the club members. Administration of the logbook and training scheme are also his responsibility. A bit of A Mr Fix It. He is also an experienced cross country skier in and around Scandinavia. Chris is a County Instructor and Assessor. |

Keith Hildreth (Dougal) - Also a Coordinator for The Young Climbers Club. Responsible for organizing Young Climbers trips and the Administration of the logbook and training scheme. Dougal is an experienced climber and has been known to climb the odd gritstone route with a broken ankle (a true hard man). He is a County Instructor and Assessor. |

Chris Oliver (Lionel) - Chris Is a key member of the team and is actively involved in the running of the Young Climbers Club, responsible for communication and liaison with Scout membership. He holds his SPA assessment. He is a keen member of the team and always on the look out for new climbing partners and venues to further his skills both socially and technically. |

Steve Rogers - Steve has completed his SPA Training. He is involved in Training the Young Climbers. He introduced a very young scout called Alec to Climbing many years ago - so guess his age is the name of the game! Steve is a County Climbing Instructor. |

Ron Murray (Big Ron) - Ron has completed his SPA Training. He is involved in coaching and training of members of the Young Climbers Club. He is transport manager for their trips away. A true Grit stone Thug when climbing in the Peak District. He is a County Climbing Instructor. |

Rob Hiscock (Rubin) - The Michael Schumaker of the team (a great driver).Rob Has completed his SPA Training. He is involved in the club with training. Rob is a County Climbing Instructor. |

Denise Carr (Dee) - Dee is the club and County Team welfare and Child protection officer. She is also responsible for Bookings at the Climbing Wall. Keeps Alec in line and generally organizes the team. |

Richard Wheeler (Weebs) - Weebs has been part of the team since the beginning. He is a co-founder of the Young Climbers Club, and has always been an active climber. He previously held the joint award for lowest number of climbs with Chaz although he still retains it. He is a County Climbing Assessor and is also involved with the training of adults and the Young Climbers Club. |

Dan Witts (Idiot) - Dan Is also an original member of the team. Dan has climbed at a high grade at various venues around the country. He has plenty of experience in climbing in exotic places such as Thailand and Australia. Dan can usually be identified by his over the top fashion sense and has been known to wear odd items of clothing when supervising. Dan is a Climbing Assessor and is involved with training although this on a part time basis as he now lives in Tasmania. |

Dan Shacklock (Interesting) - Dan has been involved with the climbing team for a long time and has a large experience of rock climbing at the higher grades as well as a good grounding in mountaineering, enjoying numerous trips to the Alps climbing 4000ers. He is also a keen Skier. As well as climbing Dan also enjoys flying, sometimes he even uses a kite. He is a Climbing Assessor and is involved with training. |

Jason King (Scruffy Hippy) - Jason has been a member of the climbing team for some time although he was previously involved as a participant of the training scheme. He has since been assessed for his SPA and is now a County Assessor, as well as being involved with the training. He is also an enthusiastic mountaineer and has been active in the Alps climbing many 4000 metre peaks. Has also done a lot of travelling and climbing in far flung places of the world. He likes to fit into the background and as a result is presently trying to become yeti like. Jay is also our club meet sectary. |

Andrew (One-Shoe) - Andrew Started out as a young climber on the training scheme, starting on climbing walls and making the transition to trad and multi pitch. He is our web master so thanks to him, you are viewing this site. Andrew is now a strong and active climber and a keen mountaineer, climbing in the European Alps and South America. He is a County Instructor and holds his SPA assessment. |

Toby Mansfield (Monkey) - Toby is another original member of the team. He has a broad experience of climbing and mountaineering in the UK and abroad. He is the inventor of the innovational belaying technique using his teeth. He is a Climbing Assessor and is involved with training as well as being a Scout Leader. |

Pete Reading (Fat Boy) - Pete is a County Climbing Assessor. He has been one of the main stays of the team since the beginning (sitting on the right hand of god "Alec"). He has a large amount of experience in rock climbing in the UK. He likes the crags not too far from the car park. Pete is a frustrated sport climber and would have pushed his grades even further if it had not been for the fact that he is now over thirty, and a dad! He has been instrumental in the development of climbing in the county over the years, the highlight being the foundation of the Young Climbers. |

Paul Jones (Mr Jones) - Paul has also been a main player in the county team (sitting on the left hand of god "Alec" plus he makes a dam good secretary and is a real wiz with the computer). He has a wealth of knowledge and experience in mountaineering and climbing. He is more than halfway through completing climbing the Monroe's of Scotland. Paul is a County Climbing Assessor and is heavily involved in training. |

Charlie Evans (Chaz) - Chaz has been involved with the County Climbing Team for the some time and has climbed in numerous locations around the country. He was previously the joint holder of an award for the lowest number of climbs made in a weekend but has since lost this. He is a County Climbing Assessor and is also involved with training. |

Nigel Clarke (Tricky) - Nigel, like Jay, was previously involved as a participant in the training scheme. He now holds his SPA as well as being involved with the training. Nigel has climbed in various locations around the country as well as in the Alps. Nigel has to be chaperoned on outdoor activities, in order to protect the local wildlife. |

Robin Hearn (Dobbin) - Robin has been involved with the team from conception, first as a participant and now as an instructor. He has completed his SPA training and will hopefully be ready for assessment this year. Robin has proved to be a great handyman and can be seen at the climbing wall during the summer months pushing the lawn mower about or putting up shelves in the clubhouse. He also doubles as our gear tester so any products you need testing Robin is your man to put it through its paces. |
